LIKE MINDED PEOPLE. THE POWER OF GROUP.
MOM SUPPORT GROUP
Our Mom Support Group is a psychoeducational and therapeutic group. The group aims to bring together mothers and provide a safe and supportive environment where they can share their experiences, challenges, and successes in raising children. The group’s space offers emotional connection, empowerment, and the development of coping strategies.
Goals of group:
- Provide emotional support and a space for mothers to express their feelings including frustration, joy, and everything in between.
- Provide validation and empowerment by sharing each other’s experiences offering reassurance that other mothers experience similar challenges.
- To provide practical guidance by exchanging tips, advice, and coping strategies with each other.
- Social connections by building a supportive community of mothers who can lean on each other in times of need.
- Provide mental health support, encouraging proper self-care, and offer a space where mothers can discuss mental health concerns whether that is postpartum depression, anxiety, or general stress.
